Description
Whether you’re feeding a hungry family, prepping for the week, or simply treating yourself to a warm, satisfying bite, this is your morning game-changer.
Ingredients
1 can (8-count) crescent roll dough
6–8 breakfast sausage links (pork, turkey, or plant-based)
4 large eggs
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (sharp or mild, your preference)
1 tablespoon butter (optional, for brushing tops)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Optional Add-ins:
¼ cup diced bell peppers (red, green, or yellow)
¼ cup chopped onions (sautéed)
½ cup baby spinach (lightly wilted or fresh)
Dash of hot sauce or sriracha (for a spicy kick)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook sausage links in a skillet until fully browned; set aside.
Scramble eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper until softly set.
Roll out crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
Place a sausage link, scrambled egg, and shredded cheese on the wide end of each triangle.
Notes
Don’t Overfill the Dough: Keep your fillings modest so the crescent dough seals properly and doesn’t burst open while baking.
Make It Ahead: You can assemble the roll-ups the night before and store them in the fridge. Bake in the morning for a fresh, hot breakfast in minutes.
Freezer-Friendly Option: Fully baked roll-ups can be frozen in airtight bags. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for a crisp texture—skip the microwave for best results.
Customize the Filling: Feel free to swap the sausage for crumbled bacon, diced ham, or even tofu scramble for a vegetarian version. Cheddar can also be replaced with mozzarella, pepper jack, or Swiss.
