Ingredients
1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, cubed
8 oz (225g) white chocolate, chopped
1½ cups (300g) granulated sugar
½ cup (100g) light brown sugar, packed
3 large eggs, room temperature
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1¾ cups (220g) all-purpose flour, sifted
½ teaspoon salt
Optional:
½ cup (90g) white chocolate chips
½ cup (60g) chopped macadamia nuts
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper and grease lightly.
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and white chocolate, stirring until smooth. Let cool for 5 minutes.
Whisk in granulated and brown sugars until well combined.
Add eggs one at a time, whisking after each, then stir in vanilla.
Notes
Quality matters: Use high-quality white chocolate bars, not chips, for a smoother melt and better flavor.
Don’t overbake: The brownies should be set on top but still soft in the center when pulled from the oven—they’ll firm up as they cool.
Customize it: Mix-ins like macadamia nuts, white chocolate chips, dried cranberries, or a swirl of raspberry jam add texture and variety.
Cooling is key: Let the brownies cool completely before slicing to ensure clean, neat edges.
